Fitness & Wellness Assistant

About the role

Meraki Wellness is looking for a Fitness & Wellness Assistant to join its members‑only facility in Grand Cayman, operating within a Forbes 5‑Star environment. The role combines personalised training, movement and recovery programming with a strong focus on luxury hospitality and member discretion.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver bespoke one‑to‑one personal training sessions and small‑group classes.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and design results‑driven programmes tailored to each member.
• Lead onboarding experiences, ensuring members feel confident and supported.
• Contribute to the annual fitness and wellbeing programme and wellness events.
• Utilise Technogym Bio‑Strength systems and the Technogym digital ecosystem with precision.
• Integrate functional movement, MOTR, HIIT, Barre, Pilates and holistic wellbeing principles.
• Maintain digital records in Zenoti and support equipment installation and calibration.
• Act as a brand ambassador upholding Forbes 5‑Star service standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Sports Performance or related field (Master’s desirable).
• Level 3 Personal Training certification (CIMSPA UK / EREPS EU or equivalent).
• Minimum three years’ experience in personal training across multiple modalities, preferably in a luxury setting.
• Additional certification in a complementary modality such as Yoga, Pilates or Nutrition.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
• Strong commercial awareness and confidence in sales and member engagement.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Technogym Bio‑Strength equipment and digital ecosystem.
• Experience using Zenoti or similar spa and fitness management software.
• Advanced digital literacy with Microsoft Office and Apple systems.
• Knowledge of health, safety and compliance standards.
