Consultant Neurologist (Full-Time)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Consultant in Neurology to join our internationally accredited private hospital in George Town. The role involves delivering high‑quality clinical care, diagnosing and managing neurological diseases, and contributing to the development of our neurology service.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive neurology services for elective and acute patients, including stroke, cognitive impairment and transcranial magnetic stimulation.
• Participate in out‑of‑hours on‑call rota and cover for colleagues’ absences.
• Engage in medical audit, clinical quality improvement and continuing professional development.
• Maintain data quality, comply with hospital policies and complete mandatory training.

Required profile

• Medical Degree (MD or equivalent) with specialist training in neurology.
• Minimum 5 years post‑residency experience in a busy neurology setting.
• Eligibility for medical registration in the Cayman Islands (registration without additional exams for holders of specialist registration from Australia, Canada, Jamaica, New Zealand, South Africa, the UK or the USA).
