Associate – Restructuring & Advisory (Cayman Islands)

About the role

An established professional services and advisory firm is seeking an ambitious Associate to join its growing Cayman Islands team. This role offers exposure to restructuring, advisory, and turnaround services, working alongside experienced professionals on high‑profile assignments.

Key responsibilities

• Support restructuring, turnaround, and advisory engagements for local and international clients.
• Assist with financial analysis, business reviews, and performance assessments.
• Prepare financial models, cash‑flow forecasts, and stakeholder reporting.
• Participate in independent business reviews, contingency planning, and corporate recovery engagements.
• Support formal insolvency and liquidation assignments where required.
• Conduct financial and operational analysis to identify risks and opportunities.
• Prepare client deliverables, presentations, and reports.
• Liaise with management teams, legal advisors, creditors, and other stakeholders.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
• Recent qualification or up to 3 years of post‑qualified experience.
• Audit experience within a Big 4, mid‑tier, or professional services firm is highly desirable.
• Strong financial analysis and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Excellent Excel, financial modelling, and report‑writing skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
