Assistant Vice President – Structured Finance

About the role

The Maples Group is seeking an Assistant Vice President to join its Structured Finance team in the Cayman Islands. This position is part of a structured finance Associate Programme that provides practical experience, technical training, mentorship, and cross‑functional exposure.

Key responsibilities

• Support administration of a diverse portfolio of structured finance and fiduciary transactions across multiple asset classes.
• Review transaction documents and assist with onboarding, execution, closing, and ongoing administration of client entities.
• Prepare and maintain transaction records, structure charts, compliance documentation, and client databases.
• Serve as a key point of contact for routine post‑closing administration matters and escalate issues when needed.
• Assist with KYC, regulatory, billing, invoicing, and receivables management processes.

Required profile

• University graduate with an excellent academic background.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the financial services industry.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver high levels of client service while ensuring compliance with internal policies.
• Strong attention to detail, professionalism, and a team‑first mentality.

Required skills

• Understanding of structured finance transactions.
• Experience reviewing transaction documents.
• Knowledge of corporate governance and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency with Windows applications.
• Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
