About the role

The Vice President of Commercial Banking will lead and coach a high‑performing team of sales professionals across a defined geographic area. The role focuses on acquiring and deepening client relationships, driving revenue growth, and delivering an exceptional client experience while ensuring sound credit and operational risk management.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership as a One RBC integrator, ensuring client‑centric delivery and sustainable business growth.
• Lead, mentor, and develop relationship managers to meet volume and revenue targets through tailored banking and financial solutions.
• Design, execute, and monitor sales and service plans, documenting performance in the management reporting system.
• Collaborate with internal partners to identify referral opportunities and resolve client concerns efficiently.
• Maintain portfolio quality through regular practice‑management routines and risk oversight.
• Champion digital banking tools, promoting cash‑management, point‑of‑sale, and e‑commerce solutions.
• Represent RBC at community and business‑development events to strengthen market presence.
