Treasury Manager

About the role

The Treasury Manager will support the Managing Director’s Office in the Cayman Islands, overseeing the Treasury Unit for the Caribbean North region. This role ensures that funding, liquidity, risk management and financial planning activities align with corporate strategy and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Execute funding and liquidity strategies to optimise balance‑sheet positions, net interest margins and regulatory compliance.
• Manage treasury risk in line with group policies, monitoring product and credit limits and addressing limit overruns promptly.
• Conduct financial planning and analysis for the North District, highlighting trends, variances and performance against benchmarks.
• Support the Treasury Risk Management framework, measuring and controlling interest‑rate, funding, liquidity, FX and investment risks.
• Maintain strong relationships with regulators and government officials on liquidity, investment, FX and compliance matters.

Required profile

• A business degree in Finance or Investments, or a CFA designation.
• At least 10 years of banking experience, including 5+ years in treasury functions.
• Deep understanding of local and international market structures and regulatory environments.
• Strong organisational and managerial abilities to lead staff and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
