Technology Specialist – IT Support (Associate)

About the role

EY is looking for a Technology Specialist (Associate) to join its IT Technology Experience Support team in the Cayman Islands. You will provide end‑user technology support to EY firm personnel, handling hardware, software and asset‑management tasks in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, install and configure IT equipment for new hires and departing employees.
• Coordinate repair and re‑installation of hardware and software to resolve user incidents.
• Perform asset‑management activities including procurement, receipt, inventory tracking and distribution.
• Resolve incidents related to standard end‑user software and hardware, including mobile and handheld devices.
• Provide after‑hours escalation support and manage nightly tape backup, rotation and storage.
• Assist with office moves, build‑outs, relocations and off‑site support for firm‑sponsored events.
• Act as “remote hands” for telecommunications, networking and hosting functions.
• Deliver technology training to new hires during onboarding and orientation.

Required profile

• Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in end‑user technology support.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, work with multiple software and hardware platforms and follow firm policies.
