ICT Technician – Entry Level Support

About the role

The ICT Technician 1 will join SigNus Technologies’ on‑site team in George Town, providing first‑level technical support to internal users and clients. The role focuses on installing, configuring and maintaining hardware, software and network components to ensure reliable service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver first‑line support for desktops, laptops, printers and peripheral devices, diagnosing and resolving issues promptly.
• Monitor system performance, perform routine maintenance, and assist with basic network administration tasks such as configuration and upgrades.
• Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, resolutions and configuration changes in the ticketing system.

Required profile

• Strong problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail and adherence to documented procedures.
• Effective communication skills to support users with varying technical knowledge.
• Ability to work on‑site in George Town, manage time efficiently and collaborate within a team‑oriented environment.

Required skills

• Network Administration basics (configuration, monitoring, support).
• Technical Support and Computer Maintenance for diagnosing and repairing devices.
• Printer Support – installation, configuration and maintenance of printers and peripherals.
• Relevant IT certifications or coursework such as CompTIA A+ or Network+ (preferred).
