Head of Marketing & Business Development

About the role

A leading international law and professional services firm is seeking a Head of Marketing & Business Development – Americas to lead its regional M&BD function from Grand Cayman. This senior leadership role works closely with Partners and senior leadership across multiple jurisdictions to drive growth, client development and market positioning.

Key responsibilities

• Act as senior strategic adviser to Partners on business development, client development and market positioning.
• Develop and deliver regional M&BD strategies aligned with firm objectives.
• Lead cross‑border and multi‑jurisdictional BD and client engagement programmes.
• Drive strategic account management and cross‑selling initiatives.
• Identify new sources of business and revenue through data‑driven analysis.
• Oversee regional business planning, budgeting and M&BD investment.
• Lead, develop and motivate a high‑performing regional M&BD team.
• Improve use of CRM, data and digital platforms across the function.

Required profile

• 10–15+ years progressive marketing/business development experience within professional services, with legal‑sector experience.
• 5+ years in a senior leadership role supporting regional or multi‑jurisdictional operations.
• Proven success delivering B2B marketing and BD strategies with measurable commercial results.
• Strong strategic account management and Partner engagement experience.
• Experience leading and developing high‑performing M&BD teams.

Required skills

• Experience with CRM, digital marketing and social media platforms.
• Advanced Microsoft Office and Power BI skills.
