Financial Planning & Analysis Manager – Cayman Islands

About the role

Finance Manager – Planning & Analysis for a global financial services leader in the Cayman Islands. The role is hands‑on and analytically intensive, requiring deep involvement with numbers and strategic insight.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the annual budget cycle and monthly forecasting, delivering timely, accurate MIS to senior leadership.
• Build and maintain detailed models and reporting in Excel – heavily hands‑on.
• Factor macroeconomic data and trends into forecasts and recommendations.
• Flag emerging risks and opportunities and translate them into clear management insight.
• Drive profitability analysis and support annual business planning.
• Keep reporting and controls aligned with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Partner with business leaders on operational efficiency and strategic priorities.
• Coach and develop a high‑performing team.

Required profile

• Recognised accounting qualification (CPA, CA, ACCA, CGA or equivalent) plus a degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 5+ years progressive experience in financial reporting, forecasting and business performance.
• Advanced Excel skills essential; Power BI experience an advantage.
• Experience in a regulated financial services environment highly beneficial.
• Strong grasp of macroeconomic data and its impact on business performance.
• Proven MIS experience.
• Solid understanding of accounting standards, controls and regulatory requirements.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
