CSC Tier 1 Engineer – IT Service Desk

About the role

This client‑facing position provides first‑ and second‑level technical support to internal and external customers. The engineer reports to an assigned supervisor, maintains high service standards, and participates in on‑call and rotational shift schedules as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality technical support to clients, troubleshooting hardware, software and network issues.
• Manage and maintain Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune and BitLocker deployments.
• Install, configure and support PCs, laptops, printers and multifunction devices.
• Administer Active Directory, Group Policies and Veeam Backup solutions.
• Monitor anti‑virus solutions and remote desktop environments (Citrix/MS RDS).
• Provide timely end‑user support and assist in IT project delivery and documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years experience in an IT firm or VAR.
• Microsoft 365 certification with hands‑on experience in Office 365, Azure and Intune.
• Strong documentation abilities and client‑facing communication skills.
• Willingness to participate in on‑call rotation and shift work.
