Compliance Associate

About the role

The client, a well‑established financial services organisation, is looking for a Compliance Associate to support a remediation project. The position is offered on an initial contract basis with the possibility of becoming permanent after the project ends, and can be taken either full‑time or part‑time.

Key responsibilities

• Review and assess compliance‑related cases and determine appropriate resolution actions.
• Ensure cases are handled in line with internal policy, regulatory requirements and industry best practice.
• Document decisions, escalate complex matters and support the development of internal procedures.
• Collaborate with compliance, risk and operations stakeholders and participate in audits, reviews and regulatory inquiries.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a compliance or financial‑crime related role.
• Strong understanding of AML regulations and practical application.
• Remediation experience is highly desirable.
• Relevant compliance certifications (e.g., CAMS, ICA) are an asset.

Required skills

• Proficiency with compliance‑related tools and systems.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Excel.
• Advanced use of Microsoft PowerPoint and other reporting tools.
