Audit Senior – Asset Management

About the role

You will join Grant Thornton’s fast‑growing Asset Management team in the Cayman Islands, working closely with partners, directors and senior managers to deliver high‑quality audit services to a portfolio of financial services clients. The role offers international exposure in a dynamic industry and clear progression opportunities for ambitious professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of clients from audit planning through to completion, ensuring timely submission for manager review.
• Allocate audit responsibilities to junior and staff auditors.
• Review junior team members’ work for accuracy and compliance.
• Perform effective risk and control assessments.
• Present audit findings and recommend ways to increase compliance and efficiency.

Required profile

• Qualified with CA, ACA, ACCA or CPA and a bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related business field.
• Minimum 2 years of audit experience in a medium to large public accounting firm, with the ability to work unsupervised.
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
• Experience auditing financial services entities, especially funds; Big‑4 experience is a plus.
