Assistant Vice President - Client Accounting

About the role

The Maples Group is seeking an Assistant Vice President to join its Client Accounting team in Grand Cayman. You will deliver accounting, financial reporting and administration services to a diverse portfolio of financial‑services clients, including structured finance vehicles, trusts, investment funds and insurance entities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide accounting, financial reporting and administration services to a variety of financial‑services clients.
• Prepare and compile financial statements for structured finance vehicles, trusts, funds and insurance entities.
• Liaise with fund administrators, directors, trustees, senior bankers, investment managers and lawyers.
• Produce a high volume of financial statements within tight deadlines, including overtime as required.

Required profile

• University degree in economics, accounting, finance or business administration.
• Internationally recognised accounting designation (CA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent).
• Minimum 2 years post‑qualification experience with a top‑tier accounting and audit firm serving financial‑services clients.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work independently.

Required skills

• Solid understanding of US GAAP.
• Solid understanding of IFRS.
• Proficiency with CaseWare software.
