Transaction Analyst – Liquidations Specialist

About the role

The Transaction Analyst (Liquidations Specialist) independently manages a portfolio of Cayman Islands entity termination engagements, guiding clients through solvent voluntary liquidations, partnership dissolutions, strike‑offs, foreign company cessations and regulatory deregistrations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end liquidation and deregistration engagements, establishing timelines, responsibilities and deliverables.
• Review constitutional documents, financial statements and statutory records to assess readiness for termination.
• Prepare, review and coordinate execution of resolutions, declarations, regulatory forms and final returns.
• Submit filings to the Registrar of Companies, Cayman Islands Monetary Authority, Cayman Islands Gazette and other authorities within deadlines.
• Track residual reporting obligations (FATCA, CRS, economic substance, audit) through engagement completion.
• Maintain accurate engagement records, monitor fees and invoices, and collaborate with Finance for billing and revenue recognition.

Required profile

• Relevant professional experience in corporate administration, fiduciary services, insolvency, investment funds or regulatory compliance.
• Working knowledge of Cayman Islands corporate and regulatory requirements for solvent liquidations and deregistrations.
• Experience reviewing financial information and corporate records, preparing statutory documentation and managing deadline‑driven filings.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, law or a related field; professional qualification preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience using corporate administration, workflow and document management systems.
• Familiarity with regulatory filing platforms.
