Loss Prevention Employee

About the role

As a Loss Prevention Employee you will create a safe and secure environment for employees and guests. You will provide safety education, enforce company standards and protect profit through proactive loss prevention measures.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol all areas of the property and monitor CCTV, alarm and fire life‑safety systems.
• Assist guests with room access, ADA accommodations and lockouts.
• Respond to accidents, provide first aid/CPR and coordinate EMS when needed.
• Investigate incidents, gather evidence and complete detailed incident reports.
• Escort unwelcome persons and handle disturbances while maintaining order.
• Maintain confidentiality of all security reports and release information only to authorized personnel.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience as a security officer, preferably in a luxury hotel.
• High school diploma; military, police or emergency services background is a plus.
• Fluent English with ability to write clear reports.
• First Aid and CPR certifications meeting local licensing requirements.
• Flexible schedule – able to work days, evenings, overnights, weekends and holidays.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
• Experience operating CCTV and other monitoring systems.
• First Aid and CPR certification.
