Assistant IT Manager – Technology & Transformation

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager, Technology & Transformation to join a professional services consultancy in the Cayman Islands. The role focuses on delivering Microsoft Cloud solutions, driving digital transformation, and ensuring secure, optimized technology environments for a diverse client base.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support technology consulting engagements across multiple industries.
• Provide expert guidance on Microsoft Azure architecture, cloud security, and operational best practices.
• Advise clients on Microsoft 365, Azure, and hybrid cloud environments.
• Conduct cloud security and risk assessments, identifying vulnerabilities and improvement opportunities.
• Design and recommend solutions to modernise and optimise technology landscapes.
• Drive automation, improve operational efficiency, and strengthen security controls.
• Manage client relationships and ensure high‑quality project delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Business or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of technology consulting or client‑facing experience.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft Cloud platforms.
• Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Microsoft 365 Certified Administrator Expert).
• Excellent project management, analytical and communication skills.
