Trust Officer – Fiduciary Services

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Trust Officer to join our private client team in Grand Cayman. You will manage a portfolio of trusts, foundations, companies and other bespoke wealth‑structuring vehicles in a collegial, high‑integrity environment.

Key responsibilities

• Onboard new trust and corporate mandates and ensure smooth transitions for existing appointments.
• Administer day‑to‑day operations of trust and corporate structures, including files, statutory records, banking and custody arrangements.
• Process client transactions such as distributions, payments, asset transfers and other fiduciary matters.
• Prepare governance documentation, including minutes and resolutions.
• Liaise with clients, lawyers, bankers, investment managers and auditors.
• Maintain compliance with AML/CFT, FATCA, CRS, economic substance and other regulatory obligations.
• Support audits and monitor statutory/regulatory deadlines.
• Contribute to training and process improvement within the fiduciary team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, law or a related field.
• Professional qualification (STEP, ACCA, CA, CPA) is an advantage.
• Minimum of 5 years’ relevant financial‑services experience.
• Strong organisational skills, sound judgement and meticulous attention to detail.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality and excellent communication abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
