Security Officer

About the role

The Security Officer protects client personnel, property and assets by maintaining a safe and secure environment. You will conduct regular patrols, monitor security systems, control access, and respond to incidents while delivering professional customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle to detect and report security risks.
• Monitor CCTV, alarm systems and other security equipment.
• Verify identification, issue visitor passes and maintain visitor logs.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, alarms, accidents and disturbances.
• Prepare detailed incident, occurrence and daily activity reports.
• Enforce company policies, client procedures and relevant laws.
• Inspect buildings, gates, fences, fire equipment and related infrastructure.
• Assist with emergency evacuations and coordinate with emergency services.
• Provide courteous assistance and information to clients, employees and visitors.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid security officer license or certification as required by local regulations.
• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, military or customer service preferred.
• Valid driver’s license may be required for mobile patrols.
• Ability to stand, walk and patrol for extended periods and lift up to 25 kg.
• Good vision, hearing and physical fitness to respond to emergencies.
