Registered Nurse – Home Healthcare

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join a leading home‑healthcare provider in Grand Cayman. This hands‑on role involves delivering personalized nursing care to clients in the comfort of their own homes, working closely with physicians, families, and other health professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct initial and ongoing health assessments, including medical histories, physical exams, and home‑environment reviews.
• Administer prescribed medications, injections, IV therapy, and other treatments.
• Provide wound care and other procedures within the RN scope of practice.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate medication administration records.
• Perform regular home visits based on each client’s care level.
• Liaise with physicians, specialists, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Educate clients and families on conditions, medications, diet, and lifestyle.
• Document client symptoms, progress, and treatment responses.
• Participate in on‑call rota and ensure compliance with Cayman Islands health regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum of 3 years nursing experience.
• Current registration/licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• Strong clinical assessment and patient‑care abilities.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to work autonomously in a home‑healthcare setting.
• Willingness to obtain registration with the Cayman Islands Nursing & Midwifery Council.
