Mental Health Counselor / Psychologist / Clinical Social Worker

About the role

The role involves working with individuals and groups to promote optimum mental health, delivering outpatient services and supporting recovery.

Key responsibilities

• Provide outpatient mental health services aimed at patient recovery.
• Conduct intakes and monitor individual, group, and family therapies.
• Develop service plans and conduct reviews throughout treatment.
• Maintain documentation in compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
• Schedule appointments and keep case notes in Theranest.
• Attend case conferences and collaborate with other mental‑health providers and educational institutions.
• Submit regulatory paperwork (e.g., CPAM) promptly.
• Participate in community‑based mental health initiatives and continuing education.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or higher in Psychology, Counseling or a related field.
• Registered with the Cayman Islands Council for Professions Allied with Medicine (CPAM) and licensed in your home country.
• At least five years of clinical experience supporting individuals with diverse needs.
• Strong organizational abilities, punctuality, and confidentiality.

• Interest in young people and removing barriers to learning, maintaining a warm and approachable manner.
