Channel Development Manager

About the role

The Channel Development Manager leads the strategic development, governance and continuous improvement of Cayman Islands Government-owned digital channels. This senior role ensures that citizens can easily access, engage with, and respond to government information, campaigns and services across all ministries and departments.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and evaluate performance of over 50 government websites and 10 central digital platforms, providing evidence‑based recommendations to senior leadership.
• Develop and maintain the Government Channel Strategy and prioritized roadmap, aligning digital initiatives with government priorities and audience needs.
• Identify and promote innovative solutions, including responsible AI adoption, automation, and enhanced user experiences.
• Lead the Channel Development function, supervising two direct reports and supporting digital communication capability across 13 ministries and more than 40 entities.
• Provide insight through analytics, research and stakeholder engagement to inform strategic investment and procurement decisions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in leading strategic development and continuous improvement of large‑scale digital communication channels.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate data and research into actionable recommendations.
• Experience supervising staff and collaborating with multiple government ministries or large organisations.
• Ability to work with emerging technologies, including AI‑enabled tools, to enhance digital services.
