Associate Solicitor – Corporate Services (Cayman)

About the role

We are partnering with a market‑leading offshore law firm to recruit an Associate Solicitor for their Corporate Services team in the Cayman office. The successful candidate will join a globally ranked corporate practice, advising on a diverse range of corporate and commercial matters such as public and private M&A, private‑equity transactions, IPOs and joint ventures.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate transaction documents including share purchase agreements, merger agreements, shareholder agreements and financing‑related corporate documents.
• Coordinate cross‑border transactions by liaising with on‑shore counsel, financial advisors and other stakeholders.
• Support clients in corporate restructurings, corporate governance, digital assets and general commercial law matters.

Required profile

• 5+ years post‑qualification experience in corporate and commercial law.
• Strong background within a medium to large on‑shore or offshore law firm.
• Excellent commercial awareness and academic record.
• Technically excellent with strong negotiation skills.
• Willingness to engage in business development and manage client relationships.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
